Sage knows Christina doesn’t want to show who she really is in the office. It doesn’t bother her. She wants to play this game with Christina where there are no rules behind closed door. She’s a little slice of heaven in a world that’s otherwise drab and dull.
Except Sage accidentally got Christina transferred from the office building, just as things were going well. She manages to fix it, but the chemistry between them is ruined and if there will be anything between them it can be no more than friendship.
Until Sage realizes that Christina will be the end of her and if she wants anything to work out for her at all she needs to push Christina away completely. She manages to do it, too. Until she’s in a situation with someone else and she uses Christina as an excuse. And she gets jealous when she sees Christina with someone else.
